Home Water Compass Start My Water Check

Privacy choices

Control what we store about you and how we can contact you. Every request below is free, and exercising it never affects the reports or matches you already received.

Version 1.2 · Effective July 19, 2026 · Operated by KYCASEWORKS LLC ("Home Water Compass," "we," "us").

Your choices at a glance

Access or export my data

Get a copy of the personal information we hold about you — your contact requests, report email requests and associated water-check answers — in a portable format.

Correct my data

Fix anything inaccurate, such as a wrong phone number on a request.

Delete my data

We delete your personal information and anonymize your sessions. We keep only what law requires us to keep — for example, the minimum record proving we honored your opt-out.

Stop marketing messages

Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us here. Transactional messages you explicitly request (like a report you ask us to send) are not marketing.

How to make a request

Email [email protected] from the address you used with us, or include the phone number or report link from your request so we can locate your records. Tell us which choice you are exercising. We confirm receipt promptly and complete requests within the timelines required by applicable law (typically 45 days or less).

If you use an authorized agent, we may ask for proof of authorization. If we cannot verify a request, we will tell you why rather than silently ignoring it.

Analytics opt-out

We use Google Analytics for anonymous usage measurement — never with your name, contact details, address, report links or test results. You can turn it off for this browser here; the site works exactly the same without it.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is therefore nothing to opt out of on that front today. If that ever changes, an opt-out control — including support for the Global Privacy Control browser signal — will appear on this page before any such practice begins.

A note on provider requests

If you asked a professional to contact you, that provider already received your request — we can delete our copy, but you may also need to contact the provider directly to delete theirs. We show you the provider's name at request time precisely so you always know who has your information.

Complaints

If you believe we mishandled your information, contact us first at [email protected] — we take these seriously. You may also lodge a complaint with your state's attorney general or applicable privacy regulator.
